Essiac Lineage
Sheila Snow (Fraser)
May 1, 1929 – April 7, 2008
Introduced to Rene Caisse by her family doctor, September 25, 1974, Sheila spent the next three years working with the old nurse and her extensive Essiac archive material in view of writing a proposed biography. She instigated and was listed as co-author of the Homemaker’s magazine article ‘Could Essiac Halt Cancer?’ that put Essiac on the international stage, June 1977. She continued assembling the archive material in partnership with Mary McPherson after Rene died, and published her first book, ‘The Essence of Essiac’ in 1993.
