Essiac Lineage

Mary, her mother, Sarah Tibbel and her husband Cliff were all successfully treated for cancer by Rene Caisse. She collected signatures for the 1938 petitions and became Rene Caisse’s closest friend after her retirement from 1969 onwards. Mary was an important witness to Rene’s life and work and became the only person the old nurse trusted to help make the tea for her private patients. She continued supplying those patients after Rene’s death.
